About the role

As a Product Engineer at HoneyHive, you'll be at the forefront of shaping how companies build AI applications. Our end-users are sophisticated AI engineers at high-growth companies – and you'll be building the tools they rely on daily.

We’re a small team, which means you'll have tremendous impact and ownership. You'll work directly with our founders/customers and have the freedom to explore your own ideas.

In this role, you will

• Work on our core product and own new feature development end-to-end across our frontend and backend stacks. Here’re examples of features you can expect to ship in this role.

• Work with end-users to design delightful user experiences. We care a lot about UI craftsmanship and aren’t afraid to go deep to deliver the best possible experience.

• Work with the engineering team to shape our foundational UI architecture and tech stack choices as we scale.

• Collaborate closely with the founders to shape our product roadmap and represent HoneyHive at various industry events and hackathons.

Our stack

We use React, Express, and NextJS for web development, AWS for all our cloud needs, and are building SDKs in Typescript and Python.

About you

We think you'd be a great fit if you have:

• 4+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, preferably with a focus on frontend.

• Expert-level understanding of React, TypeScript, D3.js, Tailwind CSS, and REST APIs.

• Exceptional design sense and attention to detail that translates to delightful product experiences.

• Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn. AI engineering is rapidly evolving and having a passion for learning new things is key.

What sets great candidates apart:

• Previous experience founding or working at early-stage startups.

• Previous experience working on data-heavy frontends (eg: analytics products, APM tools, etc.)

• Familiarity with core AI engineering concepts like prompt engineering, RAG, evals, etc.
