About HoneyHive

At HoneyHive, we are building the new observability stack for AI agents. Our platform is used by Fortune 500 enterprises to observe, evaluate, and optimize AI agents in production. Developers use our platform debug complex agents, evaluate output quality, monitor agent failures in production, and a whole lot more.

We’ve raised $7.4M Seed from Insight Partners and are on track to scale further. Our founding team includes AI, infra, and product experts who’ve shipped large-scale systems at Microsoft AI, Amazon, Amplitude, Plaid, and more.

About the role

As a Platform Engineer at HoneyHive, you'll shape how companies build, deploy, and scale AI agents. Our end-users are sophisticated AI engineers at high-growth companies – and you'll be building the infrastructure they rely on daily.

We’re a small team, which means you'll have tremendous impact and ownership. You'll work directly with our founders and have the freedom to explore your own ideas.

In this role, you will

  • Own the development and optimization of our core microservices architecture running on Kubernetes

  • Build scalable data processing pipelines that handle large volumes of AI interaction data

  • Scale distributed databases like ClickHouse to enable powerful analytics capabilities

  • Build and automate secure customer‑VPC deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP

  • Shape our core platform architecture and product roadmap

Our stack

We use React, Express, and Next.js for web development, AWS for all our cloud needs, Clickhouse for data storage, NATS for queuing, and deploy our services to Kubernetes. Learn more here.

About you

We think you'd be a great fit if you have:

  • 5+ years of full-time experience in infrastructure / platform engineering roles

  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes and experience managing deployments in production environments

  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queuing systems (NATS, Kafka, etc.)

  • Experience with high-throughput data systems and OLAP databases like ClickHouse

  • Experience operating production systems in multiple cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)

  • Strong expertise in TypeScript and Go

  • Natural curiosity and bias for action. You enjoy diving into complex problems and aren't afraid to explore new approaches

What sets great candidates apart:

  • Previous experience at early-stage startups, particularly in data, analytics, or observability domains

  • Familiarity with core AI engineering concepts like prompt engineering, RAG, evals, etc.

Why join

  • We have product market fit and are scaling fast.

  • You'll build critical infrastructure that engineers at cutting-edge companies rely on daily.

  • You'll learn the ins and outs of startup building – perfect if you want to build your own company someday.

  • We have a flat org structure. Everyone on the team ships.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity

  • Health, vision, and dental benefits

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Assistance in relocating to NYC or SF

  • MacBook Pro + peripherals

  • Annual AI Stipend
