About the role

As our Founding Account Executive, you'll be the architect of HoneyHive's enterprise sales motion and the trusted advisor who guides technical decision-makers through their AI observability journey. This is a foundational role where you'll shape our entire sales process – establishing the methodologies, playbooks, and relationships that will define how we scale with Fortune 500/Global 2000 enterprises.

You'll be working at the intersection of technical expertise and strategic sales, navigating complex enterprise deals while speaking the language of AI engineers, infrastructure teams, and CIOs/CDaOs. This role requires exceptional technical acumen, proven enterprise sales execution, and the ability to position HoneyHive as an essential infrastructure component in the AI engineering stack.

In this role, you will closely collaborate with our founders and engineering team to:

  • Own the full sales cycle – Drive end-to-end deal execution from discovery through signature, leveraging MEDDIC methodology to build relationships with technical decision-makers and close complex enterprise deals

  • Build scalable sales processes – Create repeatable playbooks, qualification frameworks, and competitive positioning strategies that will define how we scale our sales organization

  • Execute technical sales motions – Conduct compelling demos and proof-of-concepts while driving pipeline generation through both inbound conversion and targeted outbound strategies

  • Establish market presence – Represent HoneyHive at industry events and customer briefings to build relationships, generate opportunities, and ensure successful customer implementations

About you

We think you'd be a great fit if you have:

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience – Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quota in complex B2B sales environments with deal cycles spanning 6-18 months

  • Technical sales expertise – Deep experience selling developer tools, infrastructure software, or technical platforms to CIOs, CTOs, and CDaOs

  • Consultative sales methodology – Proficiency in MEDDIC, or similar qualification frameworks with ability to act as a trusted advisor to technical buyers

  • Enterprise deal experience – History of closing deals ranging from $100K to $750K+ with Fortune 500 or Global 2000 companies

  • Startup sales experience – Track record of building sales processes and scaling revenue in early-stage environments with little structure

What sets great candidates apart:

  • AI/ML ecosystem knowledge – Understanding of LLMs, AI agents, observability, and the modern AI engineering stack

  • Developer tooling background – Previous experience at companies like DataDog, New Relic, MongoDB, Snowflake, or similar technical infrastructure companies

  • Technical background – Previous experience as a solutions engineer, technical consultant, or software engineer
